What we have here is a case of two wrongs. It is indeed despicable that the ex-soldiers have not been paid. Of course their salary is building some mansion an affluent area or in the purses of numerous mistresses. Though I empathize with the ex-soldiers yet based on the past civil war, violence and disrespect is surely not the answer. It's about time Africans show respect for the human life. I pray all will be resolved soon.

All workers need to be paid. People who put time and effort in a job need their contractual obligations respected. That is not to say they have to resort to illegal means to take what is theirs. Sierra Leone is a land of law and order. The APC government that has really had an impressive first term must strive to make sure all workers receive their earned salaries. Especially soldiers knowing the harrowing history we share about the horror of brute force. Peace!!

It's truly a SHAME; why do some African Leaders neglect their countries and their people "the citizen" for the sake of the devils and enemies is NEVER understood. After years of decadence, when is Sierra Leone going to be lift out of the darkness - only the almighty lord will know.
