Al Shabaab Commander Killed in Kenya Offensive
Abdikadir Duecsane, supreme commander of al Shabaab in Jiliib, was killed along with seven other militants during shelling by the Kenya Defence Forces on the Somali port of Kismayu as part of a larger push by African Union forces to capture the town.
