In 1970s The Atlas of Malawi distributed in all schools, the map of Malwi showed a doted line in the middle of Lake Malawi from north to about the soure of Ruvuma River which boaarders Tanz and Moz then to where the lake separets with Moz boarder. My Geography teacher at HHI Secondary school tought as that the north-east part belonged to Tanzania and the other part Mozambique. In colonial time the portuguese marine use to through a bonb to alert Malawian fishermen when they got too close to the boarder! Now when did this change?
