Friends,
I just created a new petition and I hope you can sign -- it's called: Block Escalation of the War in Somalia!
This issue is very important to me, and together we can do something about it!
Read more about it and sign it here: http://www.avaaz.org/en/petition/Block_Escalation_of_the_War_in_Somalia_1/? launch
Campaigns like this always start small, but they grow when people like us get involved -- please take a second right now to help out by signing and passing it on.
Thanks so much, Joan
Dear friend - get your facts right before you start petitions that dont make sense to someone who already knows the truth. Your petition does not make sense unless you are part of the resurgence, and if so i rest my case. Somali has a chance this time round - not because of kenya or ethiopia's military help but because - the situation is needs to change - from that of poverty and war that somalians have been used to for the last 30 years even under said barre. Lets call it what it is - a chance in the right direction and stop call it an invasion from its neighbors - your neighbors are only here to help.
