icongratulate you Gov for taking that bold step to wanting to eradicate the menace of the so called okada out of our street.this guys have constitude a gang of terror into the community what we need is a total ban on this thugs as you can see in there reaction of vandalising 10 Buses of Lagos State. If the Gov don't stop them now they are going to create a state of anarch. The State should march them force to force, the immigration should join the force and deport this guys back to their respectful country.Enough is Enough.

The ban of commercial motor cycles is imperative. The violent protests and destruction to property is enough indication to proscribe the operation of Okada in Lagos State. Heaven did not fall when Okada operation was banned in Abuja, Rivers State and some other parts of the Country. Okada operation in Lagos has no legal validity, and some people can not behave as if they were above the law. The Traffic Law as passed by Lagos State Government is in public interest, and no amount of threat should be allowed to overawe the Law, and public interest. The Local Governments should come in to provide intra-local transportation as palliative measure to mitigate whatever difficulties the commuters may face. Miscreants who flood into Lagos can not dictate the terms, which law must take. Joblessness is no excuse for the abridgement of Public welfare. By Isunola Asi Anishere (Chief).
