Nigeria's Constitution Dubbed as Fraudulent by a State Governor

Despite Nigeria's House of Representatives organising of public sessions on the review of the 1999 Constitution being dubbed as the most ingenious way to ensure a broad-based participation in the review. Some critics have labelled the constitution as useless and fraudulent.

    Constitution is one thing, interpretations is quite another. A very smart lawyer can have any constitution to say anything as he wants. No western patterned constitution will work in Nigeria save the one constructed from the reality of Nigerian society. In other words, a revolutionary Nigerian constitution.
