South Africa: HIV Contraception Search Gets a Boost
A professor in Cape Town has received a U.S.$100 000 grant to pursue research into the most effective contraception for women at risk of HIV infection.
Professor Janet Hapgood of the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of Cape Town received the grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
