This article should tell the truth not lie the land revolution went ahead because Mugabe wanted 22 farms mostly well developed commercial farms so that he could make himself and his family richer! The few white farmers this article talks about were about 2000 farmers who fed Zimbabwe for 20 odd years without Zimbabwe ever having to receive Chinese hand outs! But zanupf saw a means to control the population through food and to eliminate the anti zanupf sentiment growing in Zimbabwe. To do this they had to remove the white hands that fed Zimbabwe and replace these with zanupf hands! Then of course to appease the mujibas who purported to be vets they let them loose on the farmers to drive them off the land ! This land was then given in order of preference to zanupf generals,supporters and mujibas most of whom have no clue as to how to farm commercially! Hence the recent Chinese handouts, the growing resentment about zanupf and the land question! Of course when Mugabe builds his new forbidden city to share with his Chinese masters they will have marginalised most of Zimbabwe and Mugabe will live like king Kanute in his forbidden city guarded by his new 5th brigade trained by China?
