Majority of Women in sub-Saharan Africa Lack a Safe Toilet
An estimated 297 million women and girls living in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to safe and adequate sanitation, and of those, 107 million have no access to a toilet at all, according to the international non-governmental organization WaterAid.
