Malnutrition Costs Tanzania U.S.$512 Million
Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre's Director of Community Health and Nutrition Sabas Kimboka has reported that malnutrition contributes to 130 children deaths daily, translating to an economic loss of U.S.$512 million.
A recent survey shows that Tanzanian children suffer from malnutrition with approximately 69% of them being anemic.
