Whenever women are mutilated, murdered to protect the family honor, denied education, denied the right to vote, they need protection from the tenets of their own immediate culture. It is important that everyone know where ever and whenever this victimization occurs. No living creature should be injured with impunity. That any of these offenses occur in the U.S. is horrible.
