ABATI’S RECENT COMMENT ON OBJ IS A TABOO The recent statement, in the media, credited to Dr. Reuben Abati, Senior Special Assistant to the President on media, stating that our ex-President, Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo is confused and unstable is a taboo, which should be corrected in order to avoid Abati becoming a failure in life. In an apparent vulgar reaction laden with anger, The nation newspaper, Thursday, January 10, 2013, reported that Abati went on Twitter on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, to disparage OBJ because of the interview he granted Cable Network News, CNN, on boko haram in which the elder statesman was quoted as saying, among others, “to deal with a group like that, you need a carrot and stick. The carrot is finding out how to reach out to them. When you try to reach out to them and they are not amenable to being reached out to, you have to use the stick.” According to the report, OBJ went further to say that President Goodluck Jonathan was “just using the stick in his effort, noting. “He is doing one aspect of it well, but the other aspect must not be forgotten.” This was OBJ comment that drew Abati’s adrenaline to the extent that he disrespectfully deplored the former President’s comment and labelled him a confused man whose counsel or view, the government does not care about. I wish to warn that the core intrinsic nucleus values, which includes respect for elders, which elongates the lives of the younger ones should, for no reason, be jettisoned on the altar of political exigencies to retain one’s job. What need is there for one to hold on to political office to the detriment of losing one’s life prematurely. Right now Azazi and Yakowa are gone, who knows the mistakes they made that made them to disappear at the time we needed their services most? It is for this same reason that I warned IBB’s media aide, Prince Afegbai, sometime last year, when he, in an unprincely manner, threw brick bats on the Ijaw’s frontline and foremost nationalist and elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark, just to satisfy the urges of his stomach, please his paymaster, IBB, to retain his job. We don’t need a diplomatic channel to evaluate the ex-President nor do we need an ombudsman to explain the stressful and oppressive spiritual war Goddluck Ebele Jonathan is undergoing from Europe and Far East to stop the anti-corruption war which was led by OBJ. We see today of a President surrounded by enemies of Nigeria, but has to listen to those who made it possible for him to get there in order to avoid turning Nigeria into Euro/Americo systems where there are recurrent disasters for allowing the market forces which is a by-product of a cosmic joke practice that allows uncontrolled freedom , selfishness, greediness, corruption, etc. because they believe that humanity dropped from the sky. Abati did not speak for the President, he should withdraw that statement or he and his family will face the consequences from the Ancestors. PDP without OBJ backed by Maharaj Ji is like river without water. The Northern PDP members are foot soldiers of NPC, NPN and NRC who are here to re-colonise the black race through all kinds of give and take, so long as the other ethnic groups forget their birthright, culture and integrity. We brought OBJ in to save this journey to doom, targeted to silence the nucleus children and so PDP exists if Goodluck Ebele Jonathan agrees to advance on OBJ policies, otherwise the suffering continues. Remember, it was General Yar’Adua who destroyed Africa shrine and Odi in order to discredit the then President, not OBJ, who pushed for the use of African power to stop South Africa from destroying the race with apartheid. So, Goodluck Jonathan should realize that there is divine intervention which he cannot ignore and that is for him to catch all the thieves around him and nothing will happen. Any attempt to dodge will cause his failure and downfall for the ongoing Arab spring in the North to boomerang. Finally, Abati seems to be a very poor student of political history of Nigeria. It is therefore instructive to remind him of the NPN/NPP days when one of the political legends of our time, the great Zik of Africa complained about the brazen manipulation of the electoral process by the Northern Oligarchy in their continued denial of nucleus children of the opportunity of attaining the highest political office in the land during the 1983 general election. Dr. Chuba Okadigbo made the same mistakes Abati is repeating today in order to please his paymasters, the Northern Oligarchies, and this earned him the curse of our Ancestors that manifested at the crest of his political career. Today, Okadigbo is gone and gone forever! Hence, it is therefore imperative that Abati should retrieve his statement within 48 hours of reading this piece. A word is enough for the wise. My Love and Blessings.
