Paralympic gold medalist Oscar Pistorius is appearing in the Pretoria Magistrates Court to apply for bail after he allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Oscar Pistorius made history when he joined the men's 400m heats as the first amputee to take part in an Olympics track event.
