S Africa's Police Boss Under the Spotlight

National Police Commissioner Riah Phiyega has defended police for statements they made ahead of the Marikana shooting at the Lonmin mine in August. Phiyega is currently being grilled by George Bizos, for the Legal Resources Centre and the Bench Marks Foundation about events that lead to the death of 34 miners.
