Ethiopia has said all along that once completed, the dam would not reduce Egypt's water resources, but Egypt wants proof. It also wants assurances that Ethiopia will not use the Abbai waters to irrigate Ethiopian farmlands.
Not Ethiopia only GOD givs assurance. But to get assurance for rain fall in Ethiopian highlands let us jointly for "GREEN REVOLUTION". All Ethiopias money is going for oil and gas. Let all Egypt and Arabs supply Ethiopia with free oil and Energy needs to get free water. Other wise. "Let Ethopians to DIE but VIVA Egypt". It likes not fair.
They must be mad to say that the rain water of an area which flows in to nile can't be used for irrigation after constructing a dam at so immense cost. They(Egypt) must know how to use water economically.
Egypt's still complaining? Hey, Egypt! You're in no condition to fight a war. Ethiopia knows this. Just be polite and maybe they'll give you a sip.
