This article sounds like a press release straight from the former colonialists on Downing Street. ZANU-PF doesn't need any help winning the upcoming elections, they are clearly favored by most.
The rural poor are angry at the MDC, they have not delivered (but had some big parties!). However, ZANU-PF has carried out "the biggest land reform in Africa where 6,000 white farmers have been replaced by 245,000 Zimbabwean farmers... 245,000 new farmers have received land, and most of them are farming it. They have raised their own standard of living; have already reached production levels of the former white farmers; and with a bit of support, are ready to substantially increase that production."
These new farms have brought about a huge number of jobs and development with them and hope for the future. This hope is due to ZANU-PF policies, it'd be a strange rural voter that would think they'd be better off with the MDC. (quote from "Zimbabwe Takes Back its Land," a new book co-authored by Joe Hanlon, Jeanette Mangengwa and Teresa Smart).
This version of democracy seems very sick,How the hell can you have foreign countries dictating outcomes of an election that has not taken place? if you ask me I would say south Africa and its allies are determined to rig Zimbabwe elections in favour of MDC before we have an election and you call this democracy?
There is a disturbing formation of a civil war in Zimbabwe, On the backdrop of the corruption and poor performance of the MDC and its supporters to infiltrate the governance of Zimbabwe. It is now clear that MDC can never win a legitimate election, hence all the posturizing whilst they create an arena for a civil war and destabilization in Zimbabwe like in EGYPT. The MDC agenda has caused much misery to the nation but what it is about to unleash is total destruction of Zimbabwe supported by the international community all because Mugabe displaced White people in a Black country.
