Top SA Politicians To Testify in Arms Deal
Former president Thabo Mbeki will testify as a witness in the first phase of the Arms Procurement Commission. The commission is probing the R70 billion arms procurement deal. The deal, which was initially estimated to cost R43 million, has put South Africa's politics in the spotlight since it was signed in 1999.

IF YOU ARE FOUND TO BE INNOCENT THE PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO RESPECT YOU AS A HONEST CITIZEN. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. WHEN PEOPLE HIDE BEHIND THEIR STATUS IN SOCIETY THE PEOPLE BECOME SUSPICIOUS AND LOOSE RESPECT FOR THE PERSON CONCERNED. THE PEOPLE WANT OFFICIALS WHO ARE HONEST, CIVIL AND COMPETENT. THEY DO NOT TOLERATE DISHONESTY, INCIVILITY AND INCOMPETENCE.
