Egypt's Interior Minister Survives Attack

A bomb attack, apparrently targeting the convoy of Interior Minister Mohammed Ibrahim, has left more than a dozen people injured. Ibrahim, unharmed by the explosion, reportedly warned that the attack "is not the end, but the beginning of a wave of terrorism".

Egypt has witnessed bloody clashes between members of the Muslim Brotherhood and security forces. The Brotherhood strongly condemned Thursday's attack (file photo).
