West Agrees to Delay in Kenyatta Trial - Report

A special summit of the AU has come out in opposition to sitting heads of state facing charges in front of the International Criminal Court at The Hague. In addition, they will ask the UN Security Council to use its power to defer the current cases against President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto of Kenya, news agencies report. But there was no indication of a mass African withdrawal from the court, as requested by Kenyatta.
