Nigeria's Energy Workers Demand Pay-Outs

The government says it has paid about 40,093 workers of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria the sum of N214.22 billion as severance packages, as well as a total of N80.290 billion as pension and gratuity - this follows threats by workers of a national blackout as the company is handed to private investors.
