Egypt: Life of Al Jazeera Journalist at Risk, Network Says

Al Jazeera has requested the aid of world powers to secure the release of one of its journalists jailed in Egypt over fears that Cairo authorities are endangering his life.

Egypt has become one of the "deadliest places" in the world for journalists, says the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists.
