Finance Ministers Spotlight Industrialization & Debate AU Funding

Inustrialization holds the key to sustainable growth across Africa, Ministers of Finance, Economy and Planning agreed during a two-day meeting in Abuja organized by the Economic Commission for Africa. The ministers also debated how to pay the bills at the African Union, which currently relies heavily on contributions from outside the continent, especially for peacekeeping costs of $700 to $900 million each year.
