Renewed Focus on Saving Newborn Lives

The 'Every Newborn' series provides comprehensive data for 195 countries regarding neonatal deaths, stillbirths, rankings for countries, rates of progress and coverage of birth certification. Experts say over 70 percent of newborn deaths can be prevented.
