Drama at Nigeria's National Assembly

Police fired teargas at the National Assembly as security operatives barred the speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, and several of his supporters scaled the fence to get into the house.

At least 15 opposition All Progressives Congress lawmakers scaled the National Assembly fence to access the building, Premium Times reported in Nigeria. The lockout happened after the speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal, was reportedly denied entry.
