By developing uncultivated arable areas, relying more on irrigation, and substantially enhancing agricultural productivity in a sustainable way, Africa can make a big leap in fighting hunger, unemployment and poverty, writes AU Chair President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of Mauritania.
