EnoughisEnough Nigeria (EiE Nigeria), a coalition promoting good governance and citizen engagement, has announced a series of debates to be held ahead of the country's February 14 elections. EiE has appealed on social media for participation by the two major contenders, President Goodluck Jonathan and General Muhammadu Buhari, EiN's partners include Google, Channels TV, Facebook, GEMSTONE, GenVoices, MTV Base and Global Shapers. Two other debates are have been announced - hosted by the Murtala Muhammed Foundation and the Nigeria Election Debate Group. Buhari's All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejected participation in the NEDG-powered debate, which it said is "fraught with fundamental errors" and is biased in favor the the incumbent president and his People's Democratic Party's (PDP) administration.
