Left Behind – Girls' Education in Africa

For many African girls, the most education they can expect is only five years. Across the region, 28 million girls roughly between the ages of 6 and 15 are not in school, and many will never even set foot in a classroom. At the World Education Forum (WEF) UNESCO will be leading the way, in collaboration with six co-conveners, to build a powerful new education agenda that will transform lives.
