South Africans Detained in China

Reports say Chinese authorities have agreed to release five of the ten South Africans who were part of a 20 strong-tour group, but they will remain in detention without being charged until flights out of the country can be found for them.

Deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa is also in China leading a government, business, and state-owned enterprises delegation on an official visit.
