Police officers bound Mozambican taxi driver Mido Macia's hands to the back of a patrol van which dragged him down a Daveyton street. see more »
Macia was found dead in the police holding cells. A post-mortem found that he had died from a lack of oxygen. The police have denied playing any part in Macia's death, and have claimed he was alive when he was put in the cell (file photo).
