Nigerian Lawmakers Get Down to Business
After weeks of controversy over the selection process for legislative leaders, Nigeria's newly elected Senate and House of Representatives re-convened and got down to work. Senate President Bukola Saraki, who received a vote of confidence from a Senate majority representing his own ACP party and the opposition PDP, has outlined an ambitious programme to support the agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari.
