Africa's Governance Stalls - Winning and Losing Nations

This year's update to Africa's principal indicator of governance standards shows that while, on average, Africans saw an improvement in education, health and welfare services and in their capacity to participate in government, they were less safe and secure and their governments' ability to provide them with sustainable economic opportunities deteriorated.

Building infrastructure in Senegal: could the nation become one of the continent's powerhouses? Already in the top 10 best-governed countries, it is also one of those which has seen the most improvement since 2011.
