South African Couple in Court Over Attempted Child Sacrifice

A Mpumalanga couple are accused of making a ring of fire to sacrifice their three-year-old son in the hope of getting rich.

According to provincial police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, the two are sangomas who believed that sacrificing their son in a fire would enrich them (file photo).
