Nigerian Minister of State Named New OPEC President
The minister of state for petroleum resources Ibe Kachikwu has replaced former minister Diezani Alison-Madueke as president of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries. Diezani Alison-Madueke was named the first female president of OPEC when she was elected at the 166th ordinary meeting of the organisation.
