Nigerian Women Still at Risk of Dying at Childbirth - WHO
Reports have shown that 34% of pregnant women die in labour as a result of complications from bleeding and lack of blood for transfusions - hence public hospitals have a adopted a new policy where spouses must donate blood in case it's needed by the mother.
