What Does South African Finance Minister Fight Mean for Budget?

The country's economic growth outlook has declined since Pravin Gordhan delivered his Budget speech in February. The embattled finance minister has been charged with fraud by the National Prosecuting Authority for approving the early retirement of former South African Revenue Service deputy commissioner Ivan Pillay who was then given a five-year employment contract by Gordhan.
