Charges Against South African Finance Minister Dropped

National Prosecuting Authority Chief Shaun Abrahams has announced that the State has withdrawn charges against Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan who faced allegations of fraudulently approving the early retirement of former South African Revenue Service deputy commissioner Ivan Pillay.
