Watch: Ethiopian Woman's Second Premature Baby Conquers all Odds

November 17 was World Premature Day. At just 28 weeks gestation, Workie gave birth to her son Yohannes at the same hospital where she had her first premature baby. This time around, a pilot program conducted by the Ethiopian ministry of health, USAID, GE Healthcare and the Ethiopian Pediatric Society saw that the hospital had the technology to help manage the clinical conditions and save Yohannes' life.
