South African Judge Asks Evicted People Why They Need Transport
Judge Leslie Weinkove, who was hearing a High Court application regarding the emergency accommodation of 27 people due to be evicted from Bromwell Street in Woodstock, Cape Town, raised controversy after asking the residents what the point of their need for transport and proximity to school was.
