Uganda's dfcu Dumps Former Crane Bank Staff

The Development Finance Company of Uganda Bank has terminated the services of at least 250 out of 700 employees it inherited from Crane Bank as it completes the take-over of the latter's assets and liabilities.

Former Crane Bank Ntinda branch has now been rebranded dfcu Bank. In places where the two banks had branches, they have been merged.
