Grass-Cutting Scandal: Nigerian Senate Postpones Probe

This comes as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, turned down an invitation of the Senate ad-hoc committee on humanitarian crisis in the north-east to appear before it over corruption allegations leveled against him. He was found culpable by the Senate for his alleged role in a grass-cutting contract to clear invasive plant species in Yobe State.
