Over 2.6 million beneficiaries have received their social grants. This comes after the South African Social Security Agency faced condemnation when it failed to secure a new service provider to facilitate social grant payouts three years after the Constitutional Court ruled its contract with financial distributor Cash Paymaster Services to be invalid.
