Tanzania Starts Construction of Railway Line Link to Uganda
The country has started building the 300km s gauge railway from the Indian Ocean port of Dar es Salaam to Morogoro. The line is also going to be extended to Port Mwanza on Lake Victoria to link Uganda.

President John Magufuli yesterday launched a Sh2.7 trillion project to construct a standard gauge railway (SGR) project between Dar es Salaam and Morogoro. Read more »
