South African Ruling Party Proposes New Land Restitution Bill

Phumzile Mnguni, a member of parliament, will lodge a private member's bill, The Restitution of Land Rights Amendment Bill 2017, when Parliament reconvenes in the second quarter of May. If passed, the bill will give claimants three years in which to lodge their land claims.
