World Bank Funds Restructuring of Zambia's Rural Roads

The international lender has approved a U.S.$200 million credit for Zambia to improve rural roads in six of the Southern African nation's 10 provinces.

The World Bank has called on government to improve procurement processes such as in road tenders.
