Businessman Quits Job to Join Bid for Governorship of Nairobi

The ruling Jubilee Party has paired flamboyant senator Mike Sonko with businessman Polycarp Igathe to run for the Nairobi governorship - seen as the country's top job. Deputy President William Ruto says Sonko is the solution to the problems facing the capital.
