Nigerian Ekiti Oil Marketers Suspend Strike

Wild jubilation followed the end to a three-week war between Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose and oil marketers in the state as the two parties reached a truce. The governor agreed to stop the demolition of filling stations while the fuel marketers also agreed to resume selling of petroleum products with immediate effect.
