Gambian President Thanks Akon for Lighting Project

The popular singer's initiative, Akon Light Africa, has provided solar energy to Sarreh Pateh, a village in the west coast region with a population of 4,000. The project aims to bring clean, renewable and affordable energy solutions primarily to rural and off-grid areas in Africa.
