Commuters at Cape Town's central train station have destroyed two cell phone shops, smashed glass, stoned a bus and burnt trains in frustration after afternoon rush hour trains across the city stopped running.

Angry commuters broke the windows at Cape Town station, apparently trying to force their way in to the Passenger Rail Agency offices.
The train was set alight after power problems caused delays of more than 6 hours.
