Eskom, Africa's energy giant, has this week seen the surprise resignation of its board chairperson Ben Ngubane. The move follows the sacking of reinstated CEO Brian Molefe and the links the utility allegedly has with the controversial Gupta family, close friends of President Jacob Zuma, who have been accused of state capture.
