Tanzania Opposition MPs Take Suspension to High Court
Opposition Chief Whip, Tundu Lissu, has told journalists that the three MPs believe that the decisions by the Speaker to suspend them for one year are against Parliamentary standing orders. The legislators were found guilty of violating the Parliamentary Immunity, Powers and Privileges Act.
